Mission Description | The Embassy of Canada in Mexico and International Trade Canada are pleased to invite Canadian exporters to participate in the IT/e-government mission to Mexico, November 8 to 12, covering Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey. The mission will take place during the Electronic Government Forum for the Federal Public Administration in Mexico City, which is the largest e-government event in the country. This event includes a conference program and Expo Gobierno trade show from November 10 to 12 in Mexico City.
Services for participants in the mission include: – Business matchmaking service with targeted Mexican contacts in the three cities. -Briefing on the Mexican ICT/e-government market. – Access to the e-Government Forum conference program in Mexico City. – Networking with Mexican officers during the e-Government Forum. – Market information and intelligence. – Face-to-face business counselling. Itinerary: – Sunday, November 7: Arrival in Monterrey – Monday, November 8: Matchmaking in Monterrey; evening flight to Guadalajara – Tuesday, November 9: Matchmaking in Guadalajara; evening flight to Mexico City – Wednesday, November 10: Event with Mexican government officials and matchmaking in Mexico City – Tuesday, November 11 and Friday, November 12: Participation in the e-Government Forum |

Cost | Registration for the Mission: $350 Should Canadian exporters participating in the mission be interested in having a shared booth at Expo Gobierno, the Canadian Embassy will make arrangements for a booth under the Canadian logo. Interested companies are expected to share the cost of the booth, which is $4,000 CAD (plus 15% VAT). |
